Calling your circle

A real voice call, one to one. The audio goes straight between the two phones and is encrypted between them, so it never passes through Siren at all — there is nothing on our side to hand over.

How it works

  1. Open a conversation with a woman and tap the call button.

  2. She sees an incoming call and can answer or decline. You can mute yourself at any point.

  3. The audio goes straight between your two phones, encrypted between them. It never passes through Siren.

  4. If a network will not let the two phones reach each other, Siren says the call could not connect instead of showing a timer counting nothing.

Where to find it

Circles → a conversation → the call button.

What it will not do

Siren does not record calls, and their audio never reaches its servers. Calls are one to one.

The condition

On some mobile networks two phones cannot reach each other directly and the call will not connect. Siren says so instead of showing a timer counting nothing.

Why it works this way

A voice is often the quickest way to know someone is all right. Sending it phone to phone means there is no recording on a server and nothing on our side to hand over.

Free forever, for every woman here.
